I am learning driving again from scratch, so I was nervous, but Dean put me at the utmost of ease with his incredibly nice, kind, positive and approachable yet exceptionally effective teaching methods. Dean is both a master (definitely puts the Master In Master Driving School) at driving and putting students like me at ease, going the extra mile (no pun intended) by also making friendly conversation to get to know me better and relate to me as a person, and for that and for all he did for me yesterday, I’m incredibly grateful! Considering it has positive reviews. Unfortunately, after day 2, I complete did not want to contintue my lessons with that man anymore. His attitude was not up to par. He kept telling me to get an actual physical copy of a logbook despite I've told him many times you can use it on phones. He is completely clueless. He barely picks up my messages after 5 hours and I could not understand any word from him. He thinks I needed '2,000' more lessons to get it right which makes me infruriated in the inside. I did not want to critcise him because I want to do this with my own benefit but he makes it harder. It went well on day one but day two was just worse. Barely optimistic and yells at me when I did a minor mistake. I can recall one time he told me to stop in Swansea Road near Mt Evelyn and Lilydale like to a complete stop. He told me to go below the speed limit despite the fact I have been looking at the speedometer consistently by ensuring I don't go too slow or over the speed limit. His understanding is where it's at too. Honestly could not understand what he is saying. I pointed out the things he told me to point out but I didn't know what he meant in a way. I will still drone on about this driving instructor because this is unacceptable. He does not realise LogBooks are on phones now and didn't want to undergo a simple process where you can download the app and assess your Learner students. He just kept saying you need the actual physical copy! Never have I realised a driving instructor advising me 2,000 more lessons and telling me to stop in a middle of a busy road could make me confident in my driving. I even tried to learn how to park and Soreen says I'm doing it wrong. Then he just yells a lot. This man is not forgiving. Therefore I will never take lessons under a man who has a similar attitude to Soreen. Totally disappointed and totally happy I didn't pay the package because doing lessons under him is just making me stressed. The way she spoke with me made me feel like I would never be able to drive. Getting fraustrated everytime I didn’t understand her instructions, made me scared on road and loose my confident level. Telling me the way I handled steering was disgusting was way too much and telling me I was too dangerous on the road. Well how am I suppose to be perfect and safe on my 1st day of lesson.i wouldn’t recommend this high tempered lady to anyone for driving lessons. If not, you can book lessons separately.Jessica Lewis01:53 26 Jun 19Thanks for the awesome service JimmyYana Akasha01:46 21 Jun 19Had an awful experience instructor was agitated was very rude on the phone did not let me talk at all,that I cancelled and didn't give 24 hour notice but she has cancelled SEVERAL times and not given me 24 hour notice including cancelling twice on my first lesson.Instructor forced me to sign up for keys to drive lesson because she will get paid for it even though I told her on several occasion that I am not interested then texted me an "order" to sign up because I have lost my last lesson with her as I did not alert her 24 hours prior so I can't do that lesson.It's really awful experience as I signed up for 10 lesson and only had one more lesson to go.How is it okay to for the instructor to cancel several lessons without giving me 24 hour notice but when I cancel she acts very rude.totally disgusted.I'm not recommending this school to anyone and it's not right that your instructors are forcing me to join a keys to drive lesson just because their getting paid for it.I have other commitments that I have to attend to that makes it hard that's why I didn't want to do the keys to drive but she was very forceful,not a good listener was only concerned about her opinions it was so surreal I'm glad I won't have anything to do with her but it's ruining the way I view the school.Another alarming incident was she said the last lesson that I cancelled and lost was a keys2drive lesson except that's not possible because I had not even registered for key2drive so how could it be a keys2drive lesson that I cancelled in addition to that she did not say bring your supervising driver so it couldn't have been.how can I have a keys2drive lesson without even registering yet.She then as I mentioned ordered me to register.I registered sent her the ID then she called me saying that because I cancelled the last lesson which she said is my keystodrive lesson (no its not.I had not even registered yet)I have to call keys2drive and tell them I cancelled their lesson so they can generate a new KeyID.none of this makes any sense so I contacted them and am waiting for a reply.Anastasia Koutsantonis Bonsor05:57 15 Jun 19I had a great experience with Master Driving Schools and my instructor George! Alex's willingness to share knowledge and experience of driving, especially in the Carlton area, allowed me to become an adaptable driver. Whilst I wouldn't be 100% confident in navigating through a seemingly tricky area of traffic, I felt comfortable and well versed in working out how to move through safely. Moreover, some previous instructors I've had in the past, I have personally felt to be too nit-picky and quite stressful to drive with. With Alex, I was relaxed enough driving, knowing that he wouldn't absolutely grill me, but offer constructive feedback on the more important things, which we would then practice again and again until I got it right. I have been with 4 different instructors from 3 different driving schools, and Dan is absolutely the best, without doubt. Dan has provided all the road knowledge I possibly need in a way that is efficient and didn’t make me feel any pressure. Dan has always been 100% patient with me and even when I couldn’t stand myself. When I made ridiculous errors in driving, he never blamed me once and instead he encouraged me a lot. Besides, I was concerned that driving instructors may have thick accent, and it turned out, not a problem at all, Dan speaks clearly and there was no problem understanding everything he said. This is the first time in my life that I ever leave a comment, because it’s really worth doing so. I went on my first test without getting into a few lessons from a driving instructor and I failed and did not even go through the second stage. I was advised by a friend to get an instructor because they will teach you the things a tester is looking for... a bit hesitant but I did. Anyway, I had Beatrice (Bibi) and she was amazing! I had my lessons a week before my second test. Beatrice have helped me improve my driving skills and made me aware of the things that I’m not fully aware of like mirror check and when to use it and head checks and when to do it and have given me some tips with doing a smooth reverse parallel parking and what to be aware of when entering a roundabout especially the big ones. I was so lucky to have such a friendly and supportive instructor, who if it wasn’t for her (Bibi) I wouldn’t have had the ability to succeed on a 1st round with absolutely no critical errors. Bibi was always aware and attentive of my driving, and immediately noticed any bad habits that I had, and was sure to explain the danger of what I was doing and the correct way. In one month my driving changed completely and I felt much more confident and safer as a driver. I can’t thank her enough for making time for me and always working around my availabilities and for helping me pass my test!!I can’t recommend MDS enough!!
